Made the decision to deactivate Instagram/Threads for now to focus on myself, my daughter, and the relationship with my girlfriend. I find the pull of distraction too strong now when I’m feeling low or stressed. I need to regain my focus before I can return to it.
I still plan on sharing the micro thoughts and photos on my website, Four Sides.

The cold opening for Slow Horses Season 4, Episode One, has to be one of the best openings for a season of a show. Certainly one of the best I’ve ever seen.
It may be September now, but it’s still feeling like summer here in Kelowna. Over 30° C. I’m here for it.
Another beautiful day in paradise. A slower walk along the lake this afternoon to take it all in.
A fun afternoon walking through downtown #Kelowna to look at the classic cars on display. Stopped to look at Kasugai gardens as well.
Since I decided to leave Twitter a month ago, there isn't much I miss. Being away makes you realize how much time is wasted scrolling.
I miss following sports or monoculture shows. And even then, only a little bit.
Stayed up past midnight for the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for the Taylor Swift concert in Vancouver. Not available, so up at 6:00 am to make it happen.

The work days are much quieter without the Olympics on in the background. It was fun getting to watch a lot of different events that normally aren't on television that much.
I have to admit that it’s been fun getting my hands dirty on the CSS and hbs files of Ghost to improve the blog’s look. 30-60 mins a day so I don’t get crazy.
