Amazon Prime Day Deals - Canada

I bit the bullet this year and signed up for Amazon Prime to take advantage of the free shipping through the year, plus the lower prices on some items. I had toyed with it since it became available in Canada and wasn’t sure if it would actually be worthwhile for me or not. After adding up how much I spent on shipping alone the past year, it turns out I should have gotten on board long ago.

July 11 happens to not only be 7-11 Day, but also Amazon Prime Day which offers various deals for Prime members, usually at quite the discount. It’s basically the Boxing Day of online shopping, the new Cyber Monday, I suppose. The deals are numerous and can be easily found depending on your needs. I use the day to stock up on supplements and other household items that I know I’ll use, such as:

Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer – $34.38 CDN (normally $49.99). One of the best tasting ones I have found, it’s a requirement to get me going before a hike or workout. Also comes in a sugar-free option for a few extra dollars, which is great. I have been wanting to cut down on the amount of sugar I consume so it’ll be a nice change for me.

Vega Sport Protein Powder – $42.98 CDN (normally $54.99). Again, one of the better tasting ones I’ve tried over the years, but it also adds more than just protein in the shake. You get 6 grams BCAAs and 1 billion CFU probiotics, so it’s like taking three supplements in one. I add half a scoop into a smoothie or add water to a full scoop after a workout.

Jamieson Kelp supplement – $6.97 CDN. I’ve been taking kelp the past four months to help me sleep better at night and not feel as lethargic during the daytime. I save a bit of money by subscribing to it so I’m always stocked up on it at home.

COULAX Bluetooth Headphones – $24.00 CDN ($12.00 off). When I’ve been out hiking, it’s been a bit frustrating if I wanted to listen to music or a podcast. The headphones I had been using kept slipping off because the cord would get caught when I turned my head or would get too slick with sweat. These ones are rated 4 stars according to nearly 300 people, so I picked them up today as an extra treat.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite – $99.99 CDN ($40.00 off). While I’m currently happy with my Kindle 2, this was a rather tempting deal. The higher-end Kindles, Voyage, are $50.00 off today. Still have time to think about it before the deals run out tonight.

Plenty more deals to discover today as several of the deals have limitations on how many people can order and how long the deals run for. Check them out before they’re too late.
