Dan Shanoff Application

 Dan Shanoff is looking for someone to help him out with some research. I thought I’d post up my application done in the style of his posts, because it was rather fun to write. It’s very different than most blogs out there. Worth following if you like sports.

Sports has always started with baseball for me. The history, the drama, the character of the players. Nothing tops it. 
I’m a Blue Jays lifer, from the Series teams through to the Halladay fiasco and beyond. The team is going to be good in the coming years, by the way.

Don’t believe me? No one has hit two home runs and four hits in MLB debut since 1900. Not Ruth, Mays, Bonds, Pujols. Nobody.

Two small caveats: I’m on the West Coast, and would be doing majority of the work in the evenings or early afternoons here while my daughter naps, which means after 4pm EST. I will meet deadlines though.  
Even if I don’t get this gig, you have to lead off your Sunday article with Arencibia, don’t you?
